Welcome to Hope Ink Magazine!
This endeavor has come about after several years of thought and prayer. Hope Ink started as a conversation in a basement in England in 2006. I had left my job as a journalist and travelled to England to be a student with Youth With A Mission. I was mourning the loss of a job I love very much, because I had the feeling that I would not be going back to a newspaper job, or writing, for that matter. One conversation about the need for communicators in missions sent me to my computer to hatch a plan — a place where people in the Western world could read more about the need for aid in foreign lands, where art could be displayed, where discussions could take place.

Out of those plans came Hope Ink. I hope you enjoy it.
